1. Administrator can
now sign into BePunctual Manager Station software
Administrator can now sign into the Manager Station software with
the id "administrator" and the administrator password.
With this feature, the administrator can now remotely track
employee attendance, generate attendance reports, add staff leave
etc.
The administrator can now also add/edit staff information, enroll
staff fingerprints remotely if needed. He no longer needs to be at
the station running the Server software to do these tasks.

2. Managers can now add/edit their staffs information with the Manager Station software
|
BePunctual Manager Station software 7 let's managers add/edit staff
information if this option is enabled in the Server software 7.0.
This feature is useful for the case of multi-sites deployment of
BePunctual where each site manager has to add/edit their own
employees info and enroll fingerprints for the employees.This
feature can be enabled via BePunctual Server 7 -> Setup -> Options -> Manager

3. Presetting of Classroom Station software remarks and temperature lists
|

Classroom Station software student attendance remarks and
temperature lists can now be conveniently preset in the BePunctual Server 7 -> Setup -> Options ->

4. Allow configuring who can punch
in/out at a punch station
|
|
You can now set the employees who can punch in/out at each
Group/Staff punch station via BePunctual Server 7 -> Punch
Stations -> Edit -> Staffs as shown: |

This feature allows you have better control of the locations an
employee is allowed to punch in/out at. |

|

5. Attendance sheet
report is now built into BePunctual Server.

6. BePunctual Server performs
auto-backup of its databases
|
|
To prevent corruption of BePunctual databases from improper
shutdown of the computer, BePunctual Server auto-backup it
databases into the \autobackup subfolder of it's data folder daily. If ever
you get the error message "Fail to open database" when
running the server software, the likely reason is that the
database files are corrupted. When this happens, you can restore
yesterday data by doing the following:
- Exit the BePunctual Server software and Automator
software if they are running.
- Stop the BePunctual services in Control Panel ->
Administrative Tools -> Services
- Rename the files in the \autobackup folder from *.bpd.bak
to *.bpd
- Copy the renamed file into the folder above, replacing
the corrupted files
- restart the BePunctual services

- Importing of employee and student data.
- Supporting visitor signing in and out with their
fingerprint.
