Last month, we were busy working with Shell's Malaysia call center to incorporate secure corporate instant messaging into BePunctual. The trial was very successfully and now we are glad to release version 1.6 BePunctual. During the project, we have also improved the editing of employee time card data and make it more flexible.

Is your employees currently using the free Microsoft MSN Messenger or Yahoo Messenger in the office?

Do you know that when your employees use these messenger software to discuss confidential company matters, these information are actually sent out to the internet and back?

At the same time, many employees would use these messaging software to chat with people outside the company during office hours.

With BePunctual, not only you have a great employee time and attendance tracking system, you now also have a secure corporate instant messaging system.

Employees running the Staff Punch Station software on their computer can now discuss company matters with each other.

Managers running the Manager Station can communicate with their staffs running the Staff Punch Station software. Managers can also broadcast messages to his staffs or all staffs.

The instant messaging system in BePunctual is very flexible. It provides you with the following comprehensive options:

• Allow/Disallow staffs to contact each other
• Allow/Disallow staffs to contact managers
• Allow/Disallow managers to contact staffs
• Allow/Disallow managers to contact each other
• Allow/Disallow managers to broadcast messages to his staffs
• Allow/Disallow managers to broadcast messages to ALL staffs

NOTE: Requires the following new modules:

• BePunctual Server Software 1.6
• BePunctual Staff Punch Station 1.6
• BePunctual Manager Station 1.6

2. Editing of employee punch data is now more flexible

You can now add a punch data with just the punch in time for an employee who forgets to punch in. Previously you need to add both the punch in and punch out time at the same time.

You can add/edit staff punch data using the Server software or the Manager Station software.
